Off the Mat — Reflection

As I write to you sitting outside on my lanai, I find myself wanting to hold onto summer — the way the trees hold onto some of their green leaves even as the yellow and amber begin to fall to the ground. It’s a reminder of the active ritual of release: gratitude for what has been with us, a willingness to let go of what is ready to fall away, and openness for what comes next. This past weekend, I was grateful to reconnect with some of our summer retreat participants as they picked up their pottery pieces. That time together reminded me how connection extends beyond the moment we gather — it lives on in what we share, in our conversations, and in the spaces we create together. Our October Sedona retreat is almost here, with one space still open. Preparing for it has also sparked conversations with many of you about timing and the desire to experience something like this with your own circle. Because the groundwork is already in place — retreat homes, chefs, local adventures, props, and more — I’m able to curate private retreats for small groups. These gatherings can be designed to meet your group’s needs, whether for friends, family, or colleagues. If the idea of retreating together resonates, let’s connect and explore what might be possible.

At-Home Wellbeing — Practice / Recipe

A Simple Practice of Release As the trees let go of their leaves, we’re reminded that release is part of every season of life. Here’s a quiet practice you can try at home: 1. Find a slip of paper and something to write with. 2. Take a few breaths and reflect: What am I ready to let go of? What no longer serves me as I move into this next season? 3. Write one word, phrase, or sentence on the paper. 4. Safely burn it — in a fireplace, or fireproof dish. 5. Sit for a moment in silence, feeling the space created by that act of release. Even the smallest ritual of letting go can create a sense of clarity, spaciousness, and readiness for what comes next. With gratitude, Tiffany
