True community requires presence — the willingness to be fully here, with yourself and with others. This practice is an invitation to cultivate that quality.
Begin in Savasana (Corpse Pose) — lie on your back, arms slightly away from the body, palms facing up. Close your eyes. Take five slow breaths, allowing the body to release into the floor.
Move into Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Bound Angle) — bring the soles of the feet together, letting the knees fall open. Support the knees with blankets or blocks if needed. Place one hand on the heart, one on the belly. Breathe into both.
Stay for 5–10 minutes. Notice what arises — thoughts, sensations, emotions. Let them move through without holding on.
This is the quality of presence that makes community possible: the capacity to be with what is, without needing it to be different.
