As the year closes, take some quiet time for reflection. Find a comfortable seat, a journal, and a pen. Light a candle if that feels right. Take three slow breaths.
Then explore these questions, writing freely without editing:
What took root this year? What grew in you — in your practice, your relationships, your understanding of yourself?
What is ready to release? What have you been carrying that no longer serves you — a belief, a habit, a story about who you are?
What do you wish to carry forward? What quality, practice, or intention do you want to bring into the new year?
There are no right answers. The practice is in the asking — in the willingness to sit with yourself and listen.
Close with a few minutes of stillness. Let the year settle. Let the new year begin.
