ANNUAL REFLECTIONS AND LOOKING AHEAD

Whether you joined me for an online class, in-person session, or on a retreat this year, I've seen remarkable growth and transformation. As we close the year, I keep returning to the principles of sthira and sukha — steadiness and ease.

Patanjali tells us that the seat of yoga — the asana — should be both steady and comfortable. Not rigid. Not collapsed. Held with effort and with grace. This is the practice, and it is also the aspiration for how we move through life.

This year has asked many of us to find that balance — to hold steady in the face of uncertainty, to find ease in the midst of effort, to stay present when the world pulls us in every direction.

I am deeply grateful for this community. For the trust you place in this practice and in me. For the ways you show up, week after week, and do the work of becoming more fully yourselves.

As we move into the new year, I am excited about what is taking shape — new offerings, new spaces, new ways to deepen the practice together. More to come.

With gratitude,
