Practice becomes a place to breathe through change, to restore when we're depleted, and to find clarity when life feels unsettled. One way to explore this is through a gentle twist.
Supported Bharadvajasana (Seated Twist on a Chair):
Sit sideways on a chair with both feet on the floor. Place your hands on the chair back and gently turn your torso from the lower abdomen. Keep the spine tall, the breath steady, and let the waist, chest, shoulders, and finally head softly follow the twist. Stay for 5–8 breaths, then repeat on the other side.
This simple, accessible twist wrings out the accumulated tension of transition — creating space for what is coming, releasing what is ready to go.
