Turning Towards the Light
The air feels different now. The light lingers a little longer in the evenings. The snow is softening, slowly giving way.
We are moving toward the equinox — toward equal light and dark — showing us that balance is not an idea, but a lived practice. Something we must consciously return to again and again.
A lot is moving through the world right now. I feel it deeply. I stay informed. And I am clear about the role I am meant to play.
My role is to hold space. To nurture steadiness. To protect the nervous system. To create spaces — virtually and in person — where people can breathe and take a moment to move away from the noise and care for their inner landscape.
I've been watching the monks on the Walk for Peace. Their contribution is steadiness in action — walking quietly, grounded with feet on the earth. This is sanity and compassionate clarity.

"Balance is not an idea, but a lived practice. Something we must consciously return to again and again."
|
As we navigate the terrain of volatility and harm, it is imperative to:
| Protect your nervous system. |
| Be intentional about what you consume. |
| Anchor your body. |
| Communicate with care and compassion. |
| Stay connected to the people in front of you. |
This is my contribution, and I am honored to hold that space with you.
With care,
Tiffany

Retreating — Dates Coming Soon
Self-care is a requirement.
When you tend to your digestion, your breath, and your nervous system, you move through the world differently. Clearer. More responsive. More grounded.
Retreats are where we step out of the noise more fully — where deep practice, rest, conversation, creativity, nature, and nourishment weave together in a way that's harder to access in daily life. A separate email with release dates and details is coming soon.

Tridoshic Kitchari
Spring's Gentle Detox
Kitchari is a warming stew of basmati rice and split mung dahl — one of Ayurveda's most nourishing and cleansing meals. Prepare this for 2–3 days to gently support your digestion and nervous system as we move into spring. If you need a snack between meals, try half an avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Ingredients
| ½ cup white basmati rice |
| ¼ cup yellow mung dahl (soak overnight or 4+ hours) |
| 1 tablespoon ghee |
| ½–1 tablespoon kitchari spice mix |
| 1 teaspoon natural mineral salt |
| 3 cups water |
| 1–2 cups vegetables: asparagus, carrots, celery, green beans, summer squash, sweet potato, or zucchini |
Method
| 1 |
Strain the soaking water from the rice and dahl. Rinse at least twice, until the water runs clear. Set aside. |
|
| 2 |
Warm ghee over medium heat. Add the kitchari spice mix and stir until aromatic. Add the rice and dahl, sauté for a few moments, stirring constantly. |
|
| 3 |
Add water, bring to a boil. Stir in salt, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes. Add vegetables and continue simmering until everything is fully cooked — about 20 more minutes. |
|
| 4 |
Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh cilantro, ginger, coconut, or sesame seeds. Eat slowly. Notice how you feel. |
|
|
A slow transition back into your regular meals will help preserve the benefits. For a couple of days afterward, eat primarily simple, whole foods. Please reach out with any questions.
